The Facilitator’s Toolkit 16-17 Jan (Places Available)
A small number of spaces are still available on our two-day facilitation skills training course, The Facilitator’s Toolkit, next running on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 January in Hook, Hampshire (between Reading and Basingstoke, and close to London/M4/M3).
This module provides a grounding and builds confidence in skills for both new and experienced facilitators (managers, team leaders, chairs etc) and offers credit towards becoming an Accredited Facilitator. We can also offer this module at a generous discount for those who wish to repeat the module or who are already accredited with us. As we work experientially, no two courses or groups are the same and repeating the module can offer new and refreshed learning, as well as offering credit towards (re) accreditation.
It is an introductory course in facilitation (but it is not basic). If you are keen to develop your personal style in an experiential and reflective peer group environment – then this could be for you.
Practical skills will include:
Planning and structuring a facilitated session
Contracting, setting and managing expectations
Being a catalyst for learning and development – moving things forward
Handling emotions, particularly where they hinder group effectiveness
Challenging and confronting limiting behaviours and attitudes
Working with the prevailing group dynamics to create positive outcomes
The cost of this two day open course is £780. This price includes VAT, lunch and all course materials but does not include an overnight stay (approximately £80pn). The course will be held at Highfield Park, Heckfield, Hook, RG27 0LG.
