ONLINE TRAINING
We keep up-to-date
Our offering and expertise are in the delivery of group work and facilitator development in a way that integrates personal, group, organisational and social development approaches.
For the type of work we do – generally advanced facilitator education – we find it preferable to meet face to face. We are UK-based and travel worldwide to work with groups and organisations elsewhere. Our co-operative enquiry report summarises key considerations of online working in the context of personal and group learning – concerned as we are with considerations of power, relationship dynamics, values and personal presence.
However, we recognise that much facilitation, particularly since the COVID-19 outbreak, now takes place online. Rapid technological and social developments have allowed us to more readily work with those who are geographically distanced and to reduce the environmental impact of travel.
We recognise that relational challenges that we view as central considerations for facilitation occur similarly across both environments. Whether explicitly stated or not, these may include:
- How am I doing?
- How am I with you?
- Are we achieving our aim?
- Are we building a common understanding?
- Am I reading your reactions accurately?
- How authentic can I be in your presence?
- Am I on my learning edge?
The Online Pilot of our Foundations Open Programme is now live and available to book.
Recognising that the ability and resources to travel can be limited, we have adapted our full Foundations Programme for online delivery. This leads to accreditation at level 1. We have run two pilot programmes online with a global organisation, and we wish to offer a third pilot as an ‘open course’, open to all. The pilot findings will feed into the development of our future schedule and offerings from September 2025. So please let us know if you are interested as this will give us an idea of the likely demand, and therefore timetable.
The pilot programme will include a cooperative enquiry into learning effectiveness. Please see upcoming dates for our Foundation in Facilitation Skills (Online Pilot) listed below.
We also offer a series of short courses and virtual catch-up sessions across a range of topics which can be accessed by anyone, anywhere via a Zoom link.
