FIND A FACILITATOR
Let us make an introduction
We can introduce you to accredited facilitators whose style and background represent a good fit for your organisation, at no cost to you. Having understood in outline what you are looking for, we contact our members to find a good fit in terms of skills, experience, specialist knowledge, location and availability. From a shortlist, you initiate contact, agree the scope, fee and pay the facilitator directly without our involvement. We can provide guidance and benchmarks if required and our 2023 survey sought fee information from clients and facilitators. We are not an agency and this is not a core part of our business, rather a service that we are able to offer that is of three-way benefit. There is no charge for this service.
This “Find a Facilitator” service represents the Association’s commitment to provide options for quality facilitation skills wherever requested and to provide benefits to our members. Priority is given to Accredited and Affiliate Members as we are able to stand by their commitment to self-regulation, and they are signed up to our Code of Practice. Support and supervision is available to members, for all their engagements including opportunities introduced by us.

Accredited Facilitators have undergone training and accreditation with the Association of Facilitators, and receive regular support and supervision to ensure good professional practice and quality facilitation for your organisation.
All of our Facilitators (Affiliate and Accredited) have signed up to our Code of Practice and have a track record in working consultatively with organisations to generate results, whether they work with you on a short or long-term basis.

AoF Survey
In late 2023, we conducted a survey of facilitators in the UK, inviting responses from AoF membership and beyond, including from those who buy facilitation services. As well as some AoF-specific questions, we gathered insights into where facilitators work, fees charged, the impact of facilitator skills training and thoughts on the future of facilitation.
