Join Us This Autumn & Explore Our 2026 Programme
As autumn unfolds and the year begins to draw to a close, we’re excited to share what’s coming up at the Association of Facilitators. This newsletter includes a reminder of our October events and a look ahead to our 2026 programme – with opportunities to deepen your practice, connect with peers, and plan your next steps in facilitation.
Firstly, a reminder of our upcoming October events:
20 October, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm | £175–£230
Please note, bursaries are available for those who might be interested.
30 October, 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm | £80–£115
These sessions offer opportunities to expand your skills, explore new techniques, and connect with peers in a reflective, hands-on environment.
Looking ahead to 2026
Whatever stage you are at in your facilitation journey, our 2026 programme offers clear pathways to strengthen your practice and work towards accreditation. Build strong foundations with our Foundations in Facilitation Skills programme and progress through to our Certificate in Facilitation Skills, supported by reflection, supervision, and peer learning.
We’ve seen how impactful it can be when participants move through these stages in succession, applying their learning in real time between modules. As one recent participant shared:
“Having completed my level 2 this last week I can honestly say that it is one of the most profoundly deep learning experiences […] This training goes way beyond the technical facilitation tools and techniques and embraces the breadth and depth or intra and interpersonal psychology that impacts our ability to facilitate change.”
Alongside our courses, our Learning Days bring facilitators together in person for a rich day of enquiry, collaborative learning, and a gentle stretch. Participants leave with new ideas, resources, and a refreshed practice, having made and renewed connections.
You can also continue your development online with our Learning Labs, designed to support reflective practice throughout the year. Themes for 2026 include Interventions and Traps, Contracting, Games People Play, and Facilitation Myth Busting and the Perceived Weirdness Index. Find the full programme on our website.
If you’re considering your next steps as a facilitator, or want to explore which courses suit your journey, do get in touch with us. We’re always happy to help you plan a pathway that fits your goals and schedule.
