Group Dynamics Places Available – 19-20 Feb 2024, Highfield Park
A small number of spaces are still available on our two-day Group Dynamics training course, next running on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th February at Highfield Park in Hook, Hampshire (between Reading and Basingstoke, and close to London/M4/M3).
This module provides solid grounding and builds confidence in skills for both new and experienced facilitators (managers, team leaders, chairs etc) and offers credit towards becoming an Accredited Facilitator.
We can also offer this module at a generous discount for those who wish to repeat the module or who are already accredited with us. As we work experientially, no two courses or groups are the same and repeating the module can offer new and refreshed learning, as well as offering credit towards (re) accreditation.
If you are keen to develop your personal style in an experiential and reflective peer group environment – then this could be for you.
Practical skills will include:
- Understanding and raising awareness of group dynamics
- Understanding your role and impact on groups – contracting and managing expectations
- Skilfully confronting negative dynamics that hinder productivity
- Facilitative and Authoritative Interventions
- Working relationally with all stages of group development
- Seeing the group as a system with relationships to other systems (systemics, constellations)
- Creative approaches including sculpting, movement, image-work, etc.
The cost of this two day open course is £780. This price includes VAT, lunch and all course materials but does not include an overnight stay (approximately £80pn). The course will be held at Highfield Park, Heckfield, Hook, RG27 0LG.
