Using an AoF Accredited Facilitator ensures that your event or group is supported by someone who has demonstrated competence, professional development, and adherence to high standards of facilitation. Accredited Members train with us and participate in a self-and-peer accreditation process, assessing their skills against our Facilitator Competency Model, FACETS®. They review their accreditation every three years, and undertake required professional development in years 2 and 3.
Accredited Membership also reflects a commitment to the AoF Code of Practice, ensuring that facilitators operate with integrity, professionalism, and respect for participants. Level 1 Accredited Facilitators have completed a short Foundations course of 5 days, Level 2 members the Certificate Programme, and Level 3 members have undertaken a Post-graduate Diploma Programme.
Accredited Facilitators also benefit from substantial support, including online resources, supervision meetings, and free one-to-one guidance for planning and reviewing facilitation events. This means that when you hire an AoF Accredited Facilitator, you’re engaging someone who is skilled, supported, and committed to delivering high-quality, reflective, and effective facilitation for your group or organisation.
