DESCRIPTION:What do we mean when we talk of reflective practice? SUMMARY:Habits and Patterns
DESCRIPTION:Much is currently written on creating personal and professional habits that are generative. Such habits do us\, and others\, good. But it seems to be part of the human condition that we\, at times\, ‘do what we don’t want to do\, and don’t do what we want to do‘. \nSometimes the patterns we inhabit can be difficult to overcome\, often an inner struggle is experienced. If this sounds familiar\, relax – you are not alone! \nFrom ancient philosophers to modern psychologists\, habits and patterns have long been on the agenda. But what does this mean for us as practitioners? \nIn this Learning Lab we will offer a brief survey of relevant thinking and then take time to consider our own practice.
