Become Accredited – Training and Practitioner Routes available

We hope you have enjoyed a good summer. We have two October events which may be of interest.

Firstly, the Foundations in Facilitation Skills programme runs between October and December (starting with The Facilitator’s Toolkit 6-7 October, Highfield Park, Hook).

Secondly, a Practitioner Accreditation Day on October 20th, also at  Highfield Park, Hook.

If you are interested in Becoming Accredited with us, read below about our Pathways to Accreditation.

Spaces are available on our Foundations in Facilitation Skills Programme leading to Level 1 Accreditation:
Accreditation: Self and Peer Assessment (8 Dec)
Cost: 1390 for 5 days or 585 for each 2 day block
Location: Highfield Park, Nr Hook, Close to M4/J11 at Reading, M3/J5 at Hook and accessible by train/taxi from Reading, Basingstoke, Mortimer and Hook stations.
Pathways to Accreditation:
We offer four pathways to accreditation.  The pathway that you choose, and therefore the focus of the accreditation process, will depend on your training and experience.

Pathway 1. AoF Training
Consider this pathway if you want to train in one of our programmes in facilitation skills leading to Accreditation – Foundations (1390, 5 days), Certificate (10 months) or Diploma (2 years).

Pathway 2. Non AoF Training
This route is open to you if you have undertaken facilitation training with another organisation which we have already recognised as equivalent to ours in competencies, standards, approach and outcomes.  Email us to enquire if a course you have completed is recognised.

Pathway 3. Practitioner Accreditation
If you have experience as a facilitator for which you are able to provide evidence and/or require no formal training (or no more formal training) the Practitioner Accreditation route is open to you.  After completing a portfolio of evidence (with the guidance of a support person and a workbook) you attend an Accreditation Day (total cost 550).  Places available for October 20th 2014.

Pathway 4. Experienced Practitioner Accreditation
If your approach as a facilitator is well-established and evidence (e.g. publications, public recognition, contribution to the facilitation profession) then you can be invited to apply for this route.
